Civic Wellness

Let’s be honest, for many of us the election season can feel a bit overwhelming and can even be triggering for some. It’s important to take care of ourselves in the midst of hard seasons, no matter when those are. Butler University’s number one priority is the health and wellness of each and every member of our community. Below are some helpful resources to engage in challenging conversations, to be a bit more aware of those around you, and practical ways to care for yourself. Remember, mental wellness is part of civic wellness!

As always, remember that we have trained professional staff on campus who are here to help if you find yourself in a position that feels a bit too much to journey alone – because you’re not. Seek out a listening ear from the Office of Counseling & Consultation Services or the COMPASS Center!
