Curriculum

Butler’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program that prepares students to be knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate registered nurses. The curriculum is paired with rigorous lab and clinical hours, providing a holistic and experiential education for the next generation of nurses.

The innovative BSN curriculum merges academic knowledge and practical skills including 104 didactic credit hours within the 126 total credit hours. Students will have significant hands-on exposure including 240 hours of laboratory and an additional 90 hours of simulation to augment these experiences.

In addition, students will engage in 495 hours of hands-on clinical experience within a 60-mile radius to Butler’s campus to apply what they learned in the classroom, laboratory, and simulation experiences.
