Virtual Visits
Hinkle Fieldhouse: Hoops, History, and Magic (Virtual)
Recommended for prospective students of all ages.
Monday, March 15, 7:00–8:00 PM ET
Butler University's Hinkle Fieldhouse is one of the host venues for this year's NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament, and we want you to be a part of the excitement! This one-of-a-kind virtual admission event will take you behind the scenes of Hinkle Fieldhouse, giving you a glimpse into the secrets, history, and magic of Indiana's beloved basketball cathedral. Current students will talk about their own lives at Butler, share what it's like to experience a typical game day, and take you along on a quick virtual tour of portions of campus. You'll even get to meet Butler Blue IV, our new live mascot.
Whether you're a diehard basketball fan or a casual observer wanting to learn more about the Butler student experience, this event is for you!

Explore Butler (Virtual)
Tuesdays at 2:30 PM | Wednesdays at 4:00 PM | Fridays at 10:30 AM
These online information sessions are in a webinar format (don't worry—you're not on camera!) and include a live delivery of our standard daily campus visit presentation and time for Q&A. An admission counselor will provide a general overview of campus, the Butler student experience, our academic colleges and majors, and the admission process.
Explore Colleges (Virtual)
These weekly visits are 30 minutes in length and will provide you a more thorough and detailed overview of specific academic colleges and programs. Different from our more general Explore Butler visit program, these will give you the opportunity to hear directly from a faculty or staff member within your area(s) of interest.
Registration for these visits has ended and will re-open fall 2020.
Understanding Financial Aid (Virtual)
Wednesdays at 11:00 AM
This 30-minute session will provide students and families with an overall understanding of Butler financial aid and gift programs. The experts in our Office of Financial Aid will also cover the importance of filing the FAFSA, the meaning of Estimated Family Contribution, direct versus indirect costs, and more.
Open House (Virtual)
Open House is our cornerstone event for high school seniors and transfer students in the college search process. The event, which will be held in Zoom, will include college-specific breakout sessions, information about Butler’s academic offerings and student life, special opportunities to meet our admission counseling team, and (of course!), Butler Blue IV, our live mascot. You’ll connect with current students, faculty, and staff, all from the comfort of your home and in only two hours. Learn more and view the schedule of the event at butler.edu/open-house.
Virtual Open House events have concluded for this year.
