National Wellness Institute – Certified Wellness Practitioner Program
Cost:
$195 per course with four-week access, $365 for a two-course domain package with six-week access, or $1455 for a nine-course bundle (a $300 discount).
To become a Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP), individuals must meet eligibility criteria and pass a 150-question examination that assesses their knowledge across the five domains of the NWI Wellness Promotion Competency Model.
Upon achieving Certified Wellness Practitioner status, individuals can utilize the CWP credentials as long as they sustain active status throughout their five-year certification cycle. To do so, after the initial year of certification, certified professionals must submit a $75 annual fee for maintenance. Additionally, every five years, along with the annual fee, they need to provide evidence of having earned 50 continuing education credits to renew their certification for another five years.
You will receive a score report indicating your proficiency in each Wellness Promotion Competency domain to help you prepare to retake the exam, which you can take at a reduced rate of $125. Your second attempt at the exam must be completed during one of the two exam periods following your original exam period.
Results are typically available by the first of the month following the exam period.
