Addressing climate change is not just an environmental necessity—it’s a crucial element in safeguarding the mental well-being of our community. Our campus community may be experiencing fear, distress, or a sense of loss resulting from experiencing or learning about climate change and environmental destruction. By acknowledging and addressing solastalgia, eco-anxiety, and eco-grief, Butler aims to create a resilient and supportive community that collectively works towards a sustainable future.
