Butler Faculty-led Semester Programs
Butler Semester in Europe GALA Spring 2010
It's one thing to learn from books about the history of Paris,
the discovery of genetics, and the English Lake District landscape
that inspired so many artists and poets - and quite another to
study those subjects on site. That's why GALA (Global Adventures in
the Liberal Arts) was created. The new program from Butler
University's Center for Global Education will allow 20 students to
spend the 2010 spring semester (Jan. 16-April 19) studying with
Butler professors in Italy, France, Scotland, and England.
