Butler Semester in Europe GALA Spring 2010

It's one thing to learn from books about the history of Paris, the discovery of genetics, and the English Lake District landscape that inspired so many artists and poets - and quite another to study those subjects on site. That's why GALA (Global Adventures in the Liberal Arts) was created. The new program from Butler University's Center for Global Education will allow 20 students to spend the 2010 spring semester (Jan. 16-April 19) studying with Butler professors in Italy, France, Scotland, and England.

Butler Semester in Latin America GALA Fall 2010

Participate in Butler's GALA - Global Adventures in the Liberal Arts -study abroad program by traveling in Latin America throughout the Fall Semester of 2010 while completing four core classes plus a two week homestay & internship experience. Taught by Butler professors - all with field experience in the region - the classes will be a blend of classroom and on-site lectures, discussions, site visitations, written assignments and exams.
