ICS Services Highly Beneficial for Students and Alumni

Many students don't realize the challenges of job searching.  Even those who do allocate adequate time to their search can be left feeling helpless.

"But don't let that get you down, just be prepared and be proactive." says Ben Slaton, a recent Butler graduate.  Ben began his job search early in his senior year and noticed that many companies were "in no hurry to hire." Even after he had interviewed with companies once or even twice, Ben still found himself waiting to hear back from potential employers.

Ben credits his success in finding his current job as Marketing Coordinator for First Internet Bank to a few different resources, one being the Internship and Career Services office.  He heard about the office from his career mentor, Mary Ellen Wolfsie, and through presentations given by the ICS office staff.
